The use of this site is governed by the policies, terms and conditions set forth below . Please read them carefully.

Your use of this site indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your placement of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Your submittal of any purchase order to theriot.co.za indicates acceptance of these terms and conditions.

The Riot reserves the right to make changes to this site and these terms and conditions at any time (including our Privacy Statement).

By ordering on www.theriot.co.za you grant us the right to add your contact details to our database. We may contact you from time to time, about offers and new products. You can easily be removed by either unsubscribing via a link or contacting our Customer Service at [email protected] and we will remove you from marketing communications.

These Terms and Conditions regulate the contractual relationship between you as a natural person and us, The Riot. The Terms and Conditions are valid for the offers on the Domain www.theriot.co.za and our printed catalogues. We complete your order based on our Terms and Conditions that are valid at the time of placing the order. Our Terms and Conditions are available to you on our site www.theriot.co.za.

You can order on the Internet from us via our homepage www.theriot.co.za or via telephone or email. The representation of the products, in our online shop & printed advertisements & catalogues, does not show an obliging offer.

Should a regulation of these general terms of business be ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining regulations is not thereby touched.


2. Liablity:


The Riot is not liable for any losses or damages caused by this website or any website linked to or from this website. We reserve the right to refuse any order without giving reason. Upon cancellation of an order we will make all reasonable attempts to contact you using the details provided. All received monies will be refunded.


3. Accounts:


You may be required to create an account and specify a password to use certain features on our Website. You agree to provide, maintain and update true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the registration processes. You may not impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or entity, including using another person’s username, password, or other account information.

You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and your account, and you are entirely responsible for all activity made by you or anyone that uses your account. You agree to safeguard your password from access by others. If you believe that your account has been compromised, you must immediately contact us by emailing [email protected].za or calling +27 82 922 5555. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Riot for losses incurred by The Riot or another party due to someone else using your account as a result of your failure to use reasonable care to safeguard your password.


4. Delivery:


The delivery times provided by theriot.co.za are estimates only. The Riot will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries. In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery address. The Riot can not be held responsible for incorrectly entered delivery addresses.

We dispatch products in stock within 5 working days to the address supplied by you. When shipping to International foreign countries the delivery time is dependent on the dispatch type and the receiver’s country.

All delivery times or delivery periods are non-binding, they are based on an agreement, unless it has been expressly agreed between the customer and The Riot. In the case of an expressly agreed date of delivery, if there is a delay in delivering the order you must allow us an extension of up to 2 weeks. If we are unable to deliver within the timeframe given you are entitled to withdraw from the sale agreement. Should an article not be available for delivery within the given timeframe, we will inform you as quickly as possible of the date of delivery, or alternatively that the delivery cannot occur.


5. Order Acceptance Policy:


Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Theriot.co.za  reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. All orders placed must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by a credit and fraud avoidance third party. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. The Riot is a reseller to end user customers and does not accept orders from dealers, exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the products offered by us.


6. Acceptance of Goods:


The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault and notifying us within 5 working days of receiving the goods should there be a fault.


7. Order Cancellations:


If notified before goods have been dispatched, The Riot can accommodate order cancellations. If items have been shipped, The Riot reserves the right to refuse order cancellation(s) or charge a cancellation fee should we be able to request the return of the package from our delivery service.


8. Right of Return & Refunds:


You can return any received item without providing a reason within 30 days by returning goods. The customer will however, take up all expenses to return goods to The Riot, and you will be refunded the value of the goods returned.

Though our products do go through a quality check control, in the case of faulty products, you may return items within 30 days of receiving your order. The Riot will exchange or refund your item(s) and cover return shipping expenses, provided proof and reason for exchange/refund is given. This does not apply, if the item has been used by the owner, and/or the product(s) value has lessened since time of being received.

Returns must be in as new condition with tags attached unless faulty. We recommend sending returns via registered post as we do not accept responsibility for lost items. We will happily exchange or refund your item provided the item and its packaging is in its original condition with the original tags attached. Refunds & returns are not available for free promotional items and sale items

9. Change of Address:


The Riot cannot be held responsible for an incorrect address being entered on your order.

Address Confirmation is given on the review & buy page in the checkout section of the site. If this is not noticed until after your order is finalised, please contact Customer Service immediately.

We will attempt to update any incorrect order details, however due to the fast turnaround of our warehouse, some orders cannot be adjusted. In the case that your order is processed and cannot be updated, please refer to our returns and exchange section for more information.


10. Pricing:


All shown prices are totals including the VAT. Postal and forwarding charges are added on to your cart page separately.

Prices are subject to change without notice. There may be duties and taxes added to your package by the destination country. You will be responsible for these upon delivery and are not included in your order total.


11. Payment:


We accept Payment via bank deposit, and EFT (electronic funds transfer). Orders initially sent to The Riot, is the customers responsibility to complete payment and provide their invoice number as the payment reference number.

a) Cash On Delivery Payment occurs at delivery of items.

b) Payment via bank transfer We send you an acknowledgement of your order via email and include our banking details. After we receive a notice of clear payment on our bank account, we will ship your items.


12. Care:


Please note the wash instruction on the instructions found on the items. We do not compensate damages caused by incorrect cleaning.


13. Reservation of Ownership:


All items remain unreserved property of The Riot until payment is fulfilled.


14. Customer Privacy:


We strictly keep our customers privacy. All information relating to the order as well as personal information given by customers will be saved The Riot. Stored personal information will be only transmitted to the responsible shipping company for the delivery of items. All personal information will be kept in confidence and used in line with adaptive data protection laws. For marketing purposes we maintain a data exchange with other mail order companies as well as service providers. Unless you advise us not to do so your personal information will be transmitted to those companies and providers. More information you can find in our Privacy Policy.


15. Activities & Content posted by Users:

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, The Riot shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

The Riot shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.

If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, The Riot shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
