The dates are set for 19-20 May. Hartbeespoort Holiday Resort is the venue again, so you can be sure the parties will go well into the night. There will be Am and Pro classes for BMX so no one has an excuse for not riding. Am’s will win product from loads of sponsors including The Riot. Pro’s will battle for $$$!

All the BMX will be taking place on the Saturday. This means those riders that don’t want to stay over can hit the event in one day… and those that do want to stay over can have a massive after party without fear of riding with a terrible hangover. Greenranp gets ridden more than most skateparks in Joburg and it’s just a miniramp. It’s free and it’s fun. During summer the guys in the surrounding areas can finish work, school, or varsity and haul ass to the ramp for a good session before the sun goes down. Winter is approaching fast in Joburg and these sessions will become fewer as the days get shorter. The ramp will get a well deserved rest unitl it’s next onslaught!

Greg qualified in the top 6 to ride finals but didn’t crack a podium. Check out this video made by Dig BMX magazine from the event. Greg has some clips in here but it’s safe to say all clips from all the riders are impressive.

So we headed up to Windhoek & Swakopmund to see what we could come up with. The dessert thing worked out, but could be better with a bit more wood. We spent two days riding street  in Windhoek, it’s not a massive city but it’s got good spots.
